About Me
My name is Lee Jamison and this is my third year as Media Coordinator at Mars Hill Elementary. I am happily married to my wife Cindy, an assistant principal in Buncombe County. On August 16, 2010 our family expanded as we welcomed the birth of our daughter, Gracen. I also have a wonderful dog named Gracie. I am from the small town of Old Fort, NC. I received a Bachelor's in Social Work from Appalachian State University and a Master's in Library Science from East Carolina University. Prior to becoming the Media Coordinator at Mars Hill Elementary, I have worked in various grades as an Instructional Assistant as well as a one-on-one worker with at-risk children.
In my spare time I enjoy learning about new technology, reading, exercising, playing basketball, camping, and enjoying time with my family and friends. You may even see me running around town if you look careful enough!
I am very excited to be working with the students and staff at Mars Hill Elementary. I'm looking forward to teaching as well as learning from students as we explore the world of information technology together. I know it will be a fun and fast-paced school year!
